PolymarketAI ("we", "our", or "the extension") is a Chrome browser extension that provides AI-powered market analysis on Polymarket. This policy explains what data we handle and how.

What We Collect

We collect and store the following data locally on your device only:

• Your Anthropic API key — stored in Chrome's local storage, never transmitted to our servers
• Your selected AI model preference
• Your auto-scan preference
• Usage statistics (number of markets analyzed, total API tokens used) — stored locally for your reference only

What We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect, store, or transmit your Polymarket account information
• We do not collect your trading history or positions
• We do not collect personal information such as your name or email address
• We do not use cookies or any tracking technology
• We do not sell data to third parties

How the Extension Works

When you visit a Polymarket event page, the extension reads publicly available market data from Polymarket's API (prices, outcomes, resolution rules) and sends it directly from your browser to Anthropic's API to generate analysis. This request goes from your browser to Anthropic using your own API key — it does not pass through our servers.

Builder Attribution

As a participant in the Polymarket Builders Program, the extension appends a ?via=polymarketai parameter to Polymarket page URLs. This is a standard referral attribution tag used by Polymarket to identify builder-referred sessions. It does not track you personally or share any data with us — it is read only by Polymarket to attribute activity to our builder account.

Your trades go directly to Polymarket. No financial data or trade information passes through our servers.

Third-Party Services

The extension communicates with the following third-party services:

• Anthropic API (api.anthropic.com) — to generate market analysis using your API key
• Polymarket Gamma API (gamma-api.polymarket.com) — to fetch public market data
• Polymarket (polymarket.com) — the platform the extension operates on

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these services. Please review their respective privacy policies.

Data Security

Your API key is stored in Chrome's local extension storage, which is sandboxed and inaccessible to websites or other extensions. We recommend not sharing your API key with anyone and revoking it from your Anthropic account if you believe it has been compromised.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
